Sparkasse Challenger Val Gardena Südtirol

More then twenty years have passed since March 1999: Two decades ago, a group of tennis enthusiasts from Val Gardena decided to bring a professional tennis tournament to the valley. The “Sparkasse Challenger Val Gardena Südtirol” tournament is at its 11th edition this year and is being held during 16. - 22.11.2020. After 11 ITF women’s tournaments and 10 ATP Challenger men’s tournaments, it is time to celebrate the 22. anniversary!

And as in previous years, the entry list of the tournament will be impressive again this year. Numerous top 100 players challenged each other in previous editions. Special highlights were the multiple participation of the South Tyrolean tennis pro Andreas Seppi (current number 88 in the ATP world rankings) and last year's participation of exceptional talent and defending champion Jannik Sinner (current number 73 in the ATP world rankings). World-class tennis, which will be presented in Ortisei in the Tennis Center Runggaditsch in this 2020 edition.

To “warm up”, tennis fans can watch a W15 ITF women's tournament two weeks before the Challenger tournament, from October 25 to 31, 2020.
