Took a chance on this hotel based on the website and one Trip Advisor review. What a fantastic find! We spent 5 days in this stunning new hotel. The owners and staff are very professional and helpful. We stayed in a junior suite which was incredible - it had a beautiful freestanding bathtub in the middle of the living room, looking out over the mountains. The decor is an inspired mix of modern and traditional. There is a really nice indoor infinity pool, spa and "wellness area" which is a clothing free zone including sauna, steam room etc. We prudish North Americans were a bit freaked out by the clothing free thing at first but eventually worked up the courage to go in when nobody else was there! The food was sophisticated and delicious, and the nightly multicourse dinners were a great way to sample all the local delicacies and get to know the gracious staff. Best of all there are daily activities such as hikes, mountain biking, and Nordic walking free of charge. The hiking was just spectacular and the guides contracted by the hotel were very good. We would love to return in the summer, or check out the skiing in winter. Highly recommended!
