Entry requirements to Italy valid until Monday, 31 January 2022:
Vaccinated and recovered persons travelling from EU or Schengen states (List C) must provide proof of recovery and/or vaccination. They must also provide a negative PCR test max. 48 hours before or a negative antigen test taken max. 24 hours before. Travellers must also complete a Passenger Locator Form (you can register online here).
Children under the age of six do not need to be tested.
Children over six and until eighteen must also have a PCR test, not older than 48 hours, or a negative antigen test, not older than 24 hours.
Unvaccinated children and teenagers whose parents have received the vaccine and/or recovered do NOT need to quarantine (while the children and teenagers whose parents have not received the vaccine or recovered will have to quarantine with them for five days).
People who have not received the vaccine and people who haven’t recovered must quarantine for five days in addition to complying with the abovementioned requirements. Quarantine (in their hotel room, home, apartment, etc.) ends when they take a further test after five days and if that test is negative.
