Traffic alert awareness campaign:
Between 27 December 2025 and 6 January 2026, exceptionally heavy traffic is expected in Val Gardena. The main road between Selva di Val Gardena and Ortisei will be particularly affected.
For this reason, in collaboration with the Val Gardena Mobility Centre, the Provincial Traffic Control Centre, the Road Service, the municipalities of Val Gardena, the Tourist Associations and the Val Gardena Ski Lift Consortium, DOLOMITES Val Gardena and IDM, various awareness-raising measures have been launched to inform and warn users about the traffic situation. The aim of this campaign is to provide daily visitors with timely information on the traffic situation and to recommend that they avoid peak hours between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. as far as possible.
