Please be informed that, for the “HERO Südtirol Dolomites”, from Thursday, 11 June to Saturday, 13 June 2026, the following traffic restrictions, road closures, parking closures and suspensions of scheduled services will apply.

Closure of Streda Nives (Gardena Center - Pranives Stadium)
Closure of the Cadorin-Ice Stadium, Cassa Rurale, Church, House of Culture and Library car parks (already in effect)
From 8:00 a.m. on 11 June 2026 to 11:59 p.m. on 13 June 2026
Closure of Streda Nives, from the rectory to the Gardena Center junction
This section will remain open to vehicle traffic during start times.
Friday, 12 June 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Closure of the SS242 road from Streda Mëisules 103 (Sarteur) to Streda Mëisules 157 (Hotel Des Alpes)
Closure of Streda Puez, Larciunei, Col da Lech, Cir and Rainel for the HERO KIDS event

From 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., closure of the following roads:
Streda La Sëlva, from the junction with Piazza Nives to house no. 3 (Casa Mauriz)
From 4:00 a.m. to 9:10 a.m., closure of the following roads:
Streda Mëisules, from house no. 43 (Hotel Alpenroyal) to the junction with Piazza Nives
Traffic will be diverted via Rainel - Col da Lech - Puez.
Streda Rainel, from Hotel Chalet S Dolomites to the Fever junction
Streda Nives, from Hotel Granbaita to the Oswald junction
La Sëlva bridge
From 7:05 a.m. to 9:10 a.m.
Closure of Streda Dantercëpies, from the Dantercëpies “Ciajea” junction to the Dantercëpies cable car
From 7:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Closure of the SS243 road at Gardena Pass, underpass area
From 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Closure of the La Sëlva path (Corda) to the House of Culture
From 4:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Absolute transit ban for all heavy vehicles and buses in the built-up area of Selva
On the occasion of the event, the Dantercepies cable car will open at 7:00 a.m., allowing everyone to reach the summit and cheer on the first competitors as they arrive.
On race day, traffic leaving the village in the direction of S. Cristina/Ortisei will be diverted via Streda Dantercëpies, Larciunëi (please note: one-way traffic), and Col da Lech. Traffic entering the village will instead be diverted along Streda Rainel - Col da Lech - Puez (please note: one-way traffic - no access for heavy vehicles).
PUBLIC TRANSPORT AND SHUTTLE SERVICES
For information on public transport arrangements during the event days, Friday and Saturday, and on shuttle service timetables, please click here.
Please remember that during these days it is advisable to get around on foot, by bicycle or by using the available public transport services, avoiding the use of cars. The Gardena and Sella passes are also easily accessible thanks to the lift facilities, allowing you to leave your car at home and enjoy the day in a more sustainable way.
