Awareness campaign “Traffic warning”:
Between 27 December 2025 and 6 January 2026, exceptionally high traffic volumes are expected in Val Gardena. The main traffic axis between Selva and Ortisei will be particularly affected.
For this reason, several awareness-raising measures regarding traffic information and warnings have been initiated in collaboration with the Val Gardena Mobility Centre, the Provincial Traffic Information Centre, the Road Service, the Val Gardena municipalities, tourism associations and the Val Gardena Lift Association, DOLOMITES Val Gardena and IDM. The aim of this campaign is to inform day visitors in particular about the traffic situation at an early stage and to recommend that they avoid the main traffic times between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. if possible.
