SELLARONDA BIKE DAY – 6 June 2026
We are delighted to announce that the Sellaronda Bike Day will take place on Saturday, 6 June 2026, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm – a whole day dedicated entirely to cycling around the Sella massif.
Participation in the event is free of charge and no registration is required. The route is recommended to be followed in an anti-clockwise direction. You and your guests are also warmly invited to take part in this wonderful cycling event.
Road closures
During the event, motorised traffic will be prohibited:
• from Nivesplatz in Wolkenstein to the Sella and Grödnerjoch
from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.
The road between Nivesplatz and Plan will reopen at 10.00 am.
• public transport to the passes will also be suspended during this period
Free shuttle service
A free shuttle service (taxi) is available for anyone needing to travel to St. Christina, St. Ulrich, Waidbruck, Bolzano or Brixen. This service runs every 20 minutes from 8.30 am to 10.30 am from Nivesplatz in Wolkenstein to the Dosses/Maciaconi stop and back.
