Val Gardena is a ‘5 star skiing area’

Skiresort.de, the biggest online platform in the world dedicated to evaluating skiing areas, has awarded the skiing area of Val Gardena 5 stars, making it number 6 amongst the best skiing areas in the world.
At the end of January, the ski carousel was thoroughly examined according to 18 criteria and passed with flying colours: it was awarded 4,6 stars out of a total of 5, making it number 6 amongst the best ski carousels in the whole world.
The following criteria were awarded 5 stars: size of the ski resort, slope offer, lifts and cable cars, snow reliability, slope preparation, mountain restaurants, ski huts, gastronomy, accommodation offer with direct access to slopes and lifts, family and children, snowparks, cross-country skiing and trails.
The report also highlighted the fact that ski shuttles and buses in Val Gardena could be used for free by guests with a ‘Val Gardena Mobil Card’ staying at a participating hotel.
Val Gardena excelled in the mountain restaurants, ski huts and gastronomy category, a crowning victory for this ski resort.
