Only with authorisation in Selva Val Gardena
Mushroom picking in Val Gardena is regulated by the provincial law of 19. June 1991, Nr. 18, Article 6: People over the age of 14 are allowed to pick up to 1 kg of mushrooms on even days. The purchase of a licence costs €8.80.
Mushroom picking is forbidden in the municipalities of S. Cristina, Ortisei and in areas subject to landscape constraints, as well as in cases where the landowner has displayed an appropriate sign.
Mushroom picking in Val Gardena is therefore only permitted in the municipality of Selva Val Gardena.
