Historical tour of the village of Ortisei
In close collaboration between the Tourist Association, the Museum of Gherdëina and the Municipality of Ortisei, a special project has been launched: the Historical Tour of the Village. This project invites both residents and guests to discover the history of our village in an interactive and engaging way.
Information panels have been placed near 38 historically significant buildings throughout the village. Each panel offers a brief description of the building's history and graphics illustrating its architectural or historical significance. Thanks to an integrated QR code, visitors can directly access the Museo de Gherdëina's Geoportal, where they will find further information, photos and interesting details about the local culture.
As part of our “Val Gardena Active” summer programme, we also offer a guided historical tour every Monday at 4 p.m. An expert guide will provide in-depth information and offer new insights into the history of each building.
