Helmet requirement for all skiers
Starting in the 2025/26 winter season, the helmet requirement in Italy will be extended to all winter sports enthusiasts, regardless of age.
This means that wearing a certified ski helmet will be mandatory for all winter sports enthusiasts on all ski slopes, snow parks and toboggan runs. This new regulation is intended to increase safety on the slopes, significantly reduce the risk of injury and prevent accidents while skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing.
